Vinyl Wraps in Socal

Hey guys, I might have better luck in this section...for quite some time, I have been contemplating whether I should vinyl wrap my car or not. I couldn't bear the fact that I would pay 3k+ for a product that could be easily removed...but I guess that's where the price comes from. The fact that I could easily change the color and later down the line go back to stock without eating the costs of a 'painted' car.

Anyways, a local vinyl shop down the street from me called Unique Auto Films in Encino (Los Angeles) is having a discount on majority of their wraps. I have been on the fence about getting my car wrapped but since it costs too much and they're having a huge discount, I thought about taking the plunge.

Have any of you guys dealt with them? Do you guys have any suggestions of what other shops in socal I should check out? I'm just trying to get the best bang for buck.

while I can't speak towards any of your local shops, I had a wrap on a different car (E class) and loved it......when I got tired of it I took it off myself with out any problems.
It was a 3M brand of vinyl wrap and pretty durable, it was however through the winter of last year so I also cannot speak towards durability in the heat and hot sun.......

over all it was a fun thing to do and I'd say go for it, especially if there is a sale on the material..........I'm looking forward to trying it again in a different color myself.....
good luck, looking forward to it if you do it

They did my friends Tesla Model S and it turned out pretty good.

Have you considered plastidipping your car? Cheaper and it's really durable.

eh, not sure how I feel about the dip process..........kind of don't like the idea of my car being sprayed with dip you know?
one thing to make sure the guys do is not disturb the integrity of seams in area's water could get in the car, like near windows and the like

Hahaha yeah, I totally understand. My neighbor had his car dipped for like $1k and it looks surprisingly good though. He has power washed it a few times to and it's held up. The biggest thing is making sure whoever does it does enough coats.

there is even a plasti-dip guy with in 20 miles of me...........
I'd have to closely inspect some of their work first you know?
good to hear it holds it's own though......
then again since I've already had a flat color wrap, I might go for something
bonkers like gloss green or something

Army Green can look awesome against black.

OP try this color on your CLS, for science of course.
