Next-Gen E-Class Caught in Camouflage Halloween Costume

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Spy Shots (1)

Well, I think I’ve found my Halloween costume. Can you imagine showing up to a Halloween party dressed like this? You’d blind at least half of those in attendance. Another 10 percent of the partygoers would go into convulsions. Yup, sounds like a good time to me.

Our spy photographers recently had a good time getting up close and personal with the next-gen (W213?) E-Class as it was blinding people testing in Germany.

The secret agents of the almighty lens tell us this W213 is built on the modular MRA platform. In plain English, that means you’re looking at an E-Class riding on a lengthened and widened W205 C-Class chassis. Because the new C-Class is all about the lightweight like T-Pain is all about the auto tune, you can expect the next E-Class to be one feathery sumbitch. It will be stiffer, too … stiffer than Janet Reno’s dancing style.

Expect the typical rollout schedule with the next E-Class. The sedan will come first, and then the wagon, coupe, convertible, love, marriage, baby carriage — you know the drill.

In addition to the bevy of diesel and petrol powertrains, there will be a plug-in hybrid. That last bit deserved to be written in green. Personally, I can’t wait to see what AMG does with the next E-Class. If the W212 AMG is kicking the competition square in the nuts, can you imagine the amount of sacks this thing will annihilate? Shit.
