Savage Brabus Mercedes Fears Nothing, Not Even a 1400-HP Bugatti
Like the Mortal Kombat totem pole, this tuned CLS 63 S smashes all competitors to face the deadly Bugatti Chiron at the top.
Germany’s SuperCarClub 500 hosts a series of roll races every year under the Rolling50 name. The rules are simple: lay down your best run against another in your class by going down a 1,000-meter strip from a roll of 50 kph (around 31 mph). The winner is the one with the highest speed at the finish, and the top three of each of the five classes take home the trophies.
YouTuber Gumbal was at one of these Rolling50 competitions recently, where a silver Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 S AMG rolled against the hardest of its class.
According to the video’s description, it appears the Youtuber filmed a quite the savage Mercedes-Benz CLS63S AMG by LA Performance. The description also mentions that the car had its ECU tuned by RRahmani Performance, is fitted with racing filters and has full Brabus exhaust and catless downpipes. All for a huge serving of 912 horsepower.
First up against the CLS 63 S is a Ferrari 812 Superfast. Despite its name, as it is outpaced by the tuned sedan to the other end of the strip.
Up next is a Mercedes-AMG E 63 campaigned by the same company as the CLS 63 S. Though they appear equally matched, the silver Mercedes pulls past the black one to take the win. The CLS then rolls up against an Audi, the black E 63 (twice more), and even a Porsche 911. None of them could catch up with the Brabus-tuned AMG.
Finally, the CLS throws down against a Bugatti Chiron, which has more than 1,400 horsepower from its 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16. You can probably see where this ultimately went, as the Chiron left the CLS in the dust.
Though the titan Chiron got the better of the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 S AMG, the brave, monstrous silver Mercedes did hold its own. Hopefully there is a rematch on the horizon between these two.
