SLS Electric Caught in Amsterdam

Way back in April, DRIVE presenter Chris Harris drove the SLS Electric Drive. He loved and loathed the most powerful Mercedes-Benz vehicle. His presentation opened with an anecdote: one day all vehicles will be electric.

That may ring true, but until that happens we have our early adopters of the technology who are willing to spend premium prices to become the first to drive the future.

Here’s one of those early adopters in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Driving the canal streets drained the battery of the electric supercar, and the battery needed topping off. Mercedes claim a range of the 155 miles.
