$1 Mil-Plus Brabus G63 6X6 Looking For A New Home

2014 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 Brabus B63S-700

Brabus tuned 6×6 G63 AMG listed on Bring A Trailer makes 700 horsepower, has only 8,000 original miles, and costs over $1 Million.

The Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 is already an insane vehicle in its own right. However, mixing iconic aftermarket and tuning company Brabus with this already insane vehicle is undoubtedly a recipe for something astonishing. The result is this massive beast that makes over 700 horsepower. What’s more, though, is that the Mercedes never offered the G63 AMG 6×6 for sale in the American market. So, getting one here in the first place is a bit of a chore. But, if you’ve got the funding and want to skip all the complex steps, now’s your chance to own not only a 6×6 but a Brabus 6×6. This unique offroad king is currently for auction.

This remarkable example is currently listed for sale on Bring A Trailer. Don’t get too excited, though, unless you have a virtually limitless budget. At the time of writing, this auction is only a day old, and the current bid is already $1 Million. For reference, that’s enough money to buy six standard 2021 G63 AMGs at their base price of $156,450. Furthermore, we only expect it to go up from here. What makes this thing so desirable?

A Touch of Brabus, Rarity, and Show and Display Law Make This 6×6 Incredibly Expensive.

Just a hair over 100 of these G63 AMG 6×6 models were ever made by Mercedes. Additionally, we don’t have an official number of how many got the Brabus touch. However, we can tell you that the original cost of a Brabus 6×6 was $1 Million, to begin with.

The Brabus upgrade, known as the B63S-700, includes a custom exhaust, bespoke running boards, special LED lighting, a carbon fiber hood, and a custom grille. Additionally, it has carbon fiber fender flares and a tubular rear bumper. Of course, the iconic German tuning company also tweaks the twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 to bump the power up. Instead of the original 536 horsepower, this engine makes 700. Accompanying the horsepower is 708 pound-feet of torque.

Finally, the most challenging part of obtaining one of these in the US comes from the fact that they were never made for the US market or its safety regulations. Most vehicles that were not sold in the US have to be 25 years old before they are eligible to be imported. However, specific specialty models are exempt from the 25-year rule, thanks to the Show and Display list. The G63 AMG 6×6, alongside other specialty Mercedes models like the CLK-DTM and SLR Sterling Moss, qualify for Show and Display import. However, they are restricted to 2,500 on-road miles annually. A complicated process of inspections, paperwork, and red tape is required to get a Show and Display car on US roads legally. This has all been done for this particular example, which makes it highly desirable.

Final Sales Price Will Likely Be Eye-Watering

Frankly, we are excited to see what kind of number this thing pulls when the auction finally ends. We’ve got notifications on, so we can keep a close eye on it.

You likely won’t see another one of these come up for sale. This is especially true in the US. This could be the only one in the US for all we know! If you have the means to add this to your collection, you might want to jump on this chance!
