Mercedes-AMG ONE Owner Needed $44,000 in Maintenance After Just 115 Miles
This Mercedes-AMG ONE had a routine $44,000 service done right before a sale.
RM Sotheby’s deals in all manner of simply outrageous cars. One of the latest? A 2024 Mercedes-AMG ONE. And, as far as vehicle auctions go, this one is rare enough to grab some serious attention. Mercedes-AMG built just 275 of its hybridized halo hypercar, so you’re not likely to run into one at Cars & Coffee. As for this specific model, it’s finished in ‘Sonderlackierung’ Reingrün, further establishing its rarity. After all, most of the AMG ONE allotment wears silver, black, or gray finishes as a nod to the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team livery.
When new, each model demanded around $2.7 million. Here’s the thing, though: if you thought the cost of purchase was the only eye-watering expense, you’d be wrong. It helps to read the fine print. The Drive discovered that a 2024 Mercedes-AMG ONE had its “Service A” completed in February of this year. As you might expect from a hybrid hypercar, it wasn’t cheap.
According to the invoice, that service, performed with just 115 miles on the clock, cost €37,610 (about $44,481, accounting for February 2026 exchange rates). Most of the factory-recommended service was labor, at a staggering $463 per hour for 80 hours. Woof. As for what goes into the routine service, the AMG ONE got a new air filter, an oil change, a transmission oil filter, and, get this: a $176 drain plug. Want this one and its fresh service? You’ll have to dig deep and buy the Netherlands-based hypercar from RM Sotheby’s before the next well-to-do collector.

An ‘engineering marvel’
Mercedes-AMG developed the ONE using a hybrid system adapted from the W06 Formula 1 car Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg used to win the 2016 Drivers’ and Constructors’ championships. That means a hybrid and turbocharged 1.6-liter V6 pumping out a combined 1,049 horsepower. It also means the AMG ONE is fast.
Real fast.
When unleashed against the storied Nürburgring Nordschleife, the hybrid hypercar managed to complete a lap in a balistically quick 6:29.090. That doesn’t just make the AMG ONE fast; it makes it the fastest production car to set a record at the ‘Ring, besting fiendishly quick cars like the Ford Mustang GTD, Porsche 911 GT2 RS with the Manthey Kit, and the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series.
