Mercedes Rage: AMG E63 S Decimates Supercars on the Strip
Oh, you thought you could come for a 612 horsepower V8 biturbo AMG with 590 lbs-ft of torque? Think again.
In this very satisfying video by Youtuber Gumbal we see a fleet of cars try to take on the Mercedes-AMG E63 S. It doesn’t work out so well for them. The 2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4Matic+ has a 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo and makes a mighty 612 horsepower and 590 lbs-ft of torque. It also makes minced meat out Ferraris, Porsches, and Lambos.
Each car steps up, and is easily cut down by the roaring, raging AMG power. First up is a very pretty Lamborghini Aventador. Good thing it has its looks to fall back on because damn, it is taken down easily by the E63. But this match up is definitely a favorite as both cars sound incredible.
Every car that comes up to plate gets knocks out by the powerful AMG. Although we have to say it definitely gets few good competitors in a tuned VW Golf (yes, really), and a Porsche 991 Turbo. Close, so so close.
One of the craziest runs is with a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. It is not even close. The AMG E63 outperforms this very fine Ferrari in a truly embarrassing outing. This one we’re going to have to put on the Ferrari driver. They go again, and the Ferrari definitely steps up its game, but still can’t take down the AMG.
It’s crazy to see the sheer power of a stock AMG E63 S sedan in action, going against some of the world’s finest (and finely tuned) cars. Definitely check out the raw and unbelievable AMG performance, and turn the volume up.
