The video of this C63 AMG Black burning up Laguna Seca follows the announcement of the C63 AMG Black Series’ outstanding time at the Nurburgring, where it bested the current M3 GTS’s time by 2 seconds. In that hot lap at the Ring, the C63 Black Series was also only short of the Porsche 911 Carrera S’ time by 2 seconds.  With its 517 horsepower 6.2 liter V8 and a  7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Black Series coupe has got everything it needs to run with the best.

Following the Nurburgring stint, Mercedes has filmed this Diamond White C63 AMG Black Series at Laguna Seca, another well-known driver’s track with its famous vertigo-inducing Corkscrew.
