E-Class Owner Brings New Life Into Car With Facelift

If you have an older C207 or A207, but want something newer, a facelift might be necessary. If you’re anything like me, you’ve always wondered how easy it would be to just bolt up some of the new parts to give your car a fresh look. It is, however, much easier said than done. One of our members, Chris The Swede, recently took this to the extreme by replacing almost every piece from the pre-facelift model to the current one. To the un-trained eye, many would be fooled.

Chris was pleased with his E500’s performance, but seeing as you can’t get the V8 engine any more (which is a shame and a story for a different time), he decided to go through with the transformation. The whole process was more than just what you see on the outside, as many interior parts were changed as well — from air vents, to center console buttons and even the gauges. The build from start to finish can be found here, and the details are really worth checking out. Nice job, Chris!
