Finding Mercedes Vehicles With Impressively Low Mileage
A 21,000-mile 2005 E55 AMG was recently spotted for sale by one of our members, and it is minty-fresh.
With over a decade of time on Earth under its belt, this 2005 E55 AMG has us thinking thoughts we never thought we’d think. Specifically, is the term “low-mileage AMG” going to start regularly sneaking into our conversations? And will those low-mileage AMG’s finally swing the pendulum of depreciation back in the favor of the seller? That’s yet to be known, but this thread on our forums might give that forecast.
Looking showroom fresh, this AMG seems like a lot of other W211’s that we come across but as you dig deeper this one is special. No, it was never owned by someone famous, nor is it a special edition. In fact it was pointed out that the car is missing a lot of equipment that you’d think would be standard fare for an AMG. Alas, that is not the case for this one as pointed out by forum member “bizzy247“.

The real kicker for this car is that it has just 21,000 miles, making this E55 used far less than it should have been.
Is a new owner out there to fix that issue? Well, first they will have to convince themselves that the $28,000 asking price is even worth approaching for negotiation. We are aware low mileage cars go for more money once they become a classic, but the AMG isn’t a classic yet. So perhaps the price shouldn’t shoot up that much more.
