Low-mileage 2008 AMG SLK55 Seeks a Second Owner – Marketplace Finds
AMG SLK55 looks like it is new, ready to buy just in time for the summer cruising season.
If you have been dreaming of a sporty drop-top to enjoy this summer, this 2008 Mercedes-Benz AMG SLK55 in the MBWorld Marketplace might be perfect. Technically, this sleek roadster is just about perfect inside and out, and with just 52,000 miles on the odometer, this 11-year-old Benz has barely been broken-in. It is highly-optioned, so this is the perfect car to drop the top and hit the road with the sweet roar of the German V8.
When Terramom first posted this 2008 AMG SLK55, the following information was provided, in addition to the images shown here.
“This car is in excellent shape with only 52,000 miles. Original owner, non-smoker, no accidents, garage-kept and meticulously maintained. No dents, or dings; a few fine scratches here and there that you’d expect from a car this age; some scraping under the front bumper, as well as some scraping and fine scratches on the wheels.
This car is nicely optioned with:
— iPod integration kit
–Air-scarf ventilated headrest (makes driving on chiller days warm and comfy)
–Automatic climate control
–Premium III package (phone system prewiring, Harman/Kardon surround sound system
–Lighting package (Bi-xenon headlamps, heated headlamp washers
–Updated navigation receiver = Pioneer AVIC-6200NEX+ back-up camera
–AMG floor mats and all-weather floor mats
New brakes and new battery.”
Of course, those features listed above are in addition to the 5.4-liter V8 that sends 355 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque towards the rear wheels by means of a 7-speed automatic transmission. As you can see in the pictures here, the black paint looks great and the silver wheels are in like-new condition. Behind those wheels are drilled rotors under big AMG calipers, with Continental rubber aiding in the acceleration, cornering and braking grip.
On the inside, this AMG has dark red inserts on the door panels and seats, with splashes of silver accents spread throughout the cockpit-like cabin.
Really, if you want a fun-to-drive Mercedes drop-top, this SLK55 is an awesome option. It has all of the premium features on the inside with AMG performance and for a vehicle that has been on the road for 11 years, it is amazing shape with remarkably low mileage.
Best of all, this car is listed at just $17,750. According to Kelley Blue Book, that is at the bottom end of the scale for 2008 SLK55 pricing, so in addition to being in great shape, this AMG roadster has a great price.
