Meet the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Inspired Powerboat
For six years straight, Mercedes-Benz AMG and the Cigarette Racing Team have teamed up to design a special powerboat. And every year, all eyes are turned to the Miami International Boat show to see the results.
The 2016 collaboration features the Cigarette Racing Team’s 41’ SD GT3 boat inspired by the Mercedes-AMG GT3 racecar. They’ve certainly gained a few fans here with the move, given the popularity of the Mercedes-AMG GT S, which served as the basis for the GT3.
The handcrafted Cigarette Racing Team SD GT3 is powered by a pair of Mercury Racing 1100 HP engines with a top speed of 100 mph on the open water. The interior of the powerboat features a complete teak wood floor and full extreme marine-grade leather.
Imagine taking in that Florida coastline from a front row cabin seat in that gorgeous machine. Then again, we’re sure a cabin seat in that GT3 on an open racetrack would pack a few thrills as well.
