Revised CLA Makes U.S. debut at Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan Grand Opening

New CLA is a milestone moment merges innovation, culture, and customer experience in the heart of New York City.
Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) unveiled the all-new CLA at a dual-celebration event marking its U.S. premiere and the grand opening of the flagship Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan dealership. The occasion spotlighted a pivotal leap in design, technology, and the brand’s evolving customer experience strategy in the North American market.
The new CLA ushers in a dynamic era for electric mobility and digital experience. Designed with more space, more comfort, and next-level intelligence, the CLA integrates Mercedes-Benz’s latest innovations in electrification and digital technology. It’s the first model to feature the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS), delivering a hyper-personalized, seamlessly connected experience for drivers.
At launch, U.S. customers will have access to two CLA variants equipped with EQ Technology: the CLA 250+ and the CLA 350 4MATIC. The CLA 250+ offers up to 492 miles of range (WLTP) and can charge up to 202 miles in just ten minutes thanks to its 800-volt system and next-generation battery technology. A 48-volt hybrid version will also be available.
New Era Begins at Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan
The newly redesigned Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan dealership served as the ideal venue for this landmark event. The state-of-the-art facility blends timeless luxury with modern digital integration, setting a new benchmark for automotive retail experiences.

Immersive Spaces & Exclusive Experiences
The dealership now boasts several firsts for Mercedes-Benz in the U.S., including:
- The first bespoke Maybach Lounge, featuring a MANUFAKTUR sample wall for one-of-a-kind vehicle personalization
- An expanded AMG Performance Center Plus, complete with the “Unboxing the Star” delivery experience
- A dedicated IWC Schaffhausen shop-in-shop featuring luxury timepieces and exclusive editions
- One of the brand’s largest lifestyle boutiques with curated Mercedes-Maybach collaborations
Sustainability also plays a key role, with the facility equipped with advanced energy management systems and robust EV charging infrastructure.
Cultural Collaboration with Star Power
Adding even more energy to the celebration was the unveiling of the “Class of Creators” initiative—a unique collaboration merging automotive innovation with art, music, and fashion. Artists and creators, including GRAMMY-nominated rapper Ice Spice, KidSuper’s Colm Dillane, and designer Gustaf Westman, used the CLA as a creative canvas for original works.
Ice Spice, a Bronx native and cultural icon, debuted a striking art piece inspired by the CLA and her own artistic vision, capturing the vehicle’s spirit in a bold and expressive style.
