Goodwood with Lewis Hamilton

When Lewis Hamilton left McLaren-Mercedes for the Mercedes-Benz factory team he had the opportunity to use Mercedes-Benz’s world-wide recognition and become a brand of his own. Athletes like Michael Jordan and Tom Brady have done the same and starting on day 1 with Mercedes the onslaught of Lewis Hamilton media has never stopped. Tutorials of F1 cars and rides with the RAF are just some of the events that Lewis has participated in to get his face out to the masses. His latest, though,  is just for car fans and racing fans. Taking the wheel of the 2011 MGP W02 Lewis climbed the hill at Goodwood. He waved to fans and ripped off burnouts along the way. The 2008 world champ admitted his pace was a bit slower than he would have liked but a fuel pick up problem in the car didn’t allow for a full attack of the hill.
