Satin-wrapped Mercedes C300 Is Your MB World Featured Ride Winner
Stunning Mercedes C-Class stands out from a large pack thanks to a unique wrap job and complete chrome removal.
Here in the MB World forums, we crown a different member-owned Mercedes every month as our favorite among a host of submissions. We’re always amazed by the diversity of these cool rides, and October’s Featured Ride of the Month is no exception. Owned by member Nicole Short, this satin-wrapped 2016 Mercedes C300 is most certainly a looker. A host of visual upgrades transformed this mundane white sedan into something truly special. And now, it’s more than worthy of FROTM status.
The Ohio resident wanted to do something to make her C-Class stand out, something every enthusiast strives for. And needless to say, that attractive 3M Perfect Satin Blue wrap certainly accomplishes that task. But it isn’t the only visual upgrade you’ll find here. Short also performed a total chrome delete for a stealthy look. That started with the side mirrors, and roof, which were wrapped in satin black. Next, the wheels and front grille were dipped in the same shade.
To complete the total black-out, Short purchased a matching trunk emblem, rear lip, hood emblem, and cap covers. She then turned her attention to the lighting, ditching the dim halogen headlights for HID pieces. Now, this Mercedes C-Class certainly stands out from a rather massive crowd. But like any good enthusiast, Short isn’t finished upgrading her ride by any means.
Future plans call for a slew of additional mods. They include window tint, which would certainly add to the car’s visual appeal. Short also wants to add red brake calipers, tint the taillights, and swap out all the lighting with LEDs. Throw in a custom interior, and you’ll have one killer C300 worthy of car shows and perhaps yet another feature.
For now, Short can simply revel in her FROTM status, of course. Which you could be doing as well. Want to submit your Mercedes for our consideration?
