ICON, a Los-Angeles-based builder, did neither when it got its hands on a new Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG. It went to its fabrication shop, and then it tastefully dressed up the right-angled rig.

These “Photos of the Week” come from forum member Krotondo who says he recently sold his car. The car may be gone, but Krotondo kept the aftermarket parts so that he could sell them. Just as the title states, following is a gallery of every MB we’ve seen (except this one) at the aftermarket’s biggest show of the year. Most of these were used to showcase wheels or tires. What do you think, any standouts?

RENNtech continues to put their in-house project car, the C74, to the test by evolving the wide body C63 into a full out road racer. The C74 Konzept, which started life as a 2008 Mercedes C63, hosts the entire catalog of RENNtech performance upgrades and exterior enhancements.

Although Italian tuner Romeo Ferraris’ projects are mostly Italian by choice, the tuning firm has also dabbled with other cars such as Corvettes and Land Rovers.
