The Mercedes-Benz Formula One team is shifting 50% of its workforce to work on the development of their 2014 race car according to a recent news from ZeeNews. The move was intended to increase the chances of their star driver Lewis Hamilton of winning the trophy next season.

With BMW and Audi putting out sporty models powered by diesel engines, it wouldn’t have been much of a surprise to see Mercedes follow suit. But AMG has officially thumbed down diesels as an option on cars that bear its logo. This is a breath of fresh air for enthusiasts who have lately seen iconic brands, such as BMW’s M, being watered down for the sake of marketing.
The Mercedes-Benz W113 SL Pagoda is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
In celebration, Mercedes-Benz Classic Center has completely restored a 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Pagoda. The luxury vehicle features a 2.8 liter engine with a four-speed manual transmission. It also features a two-tone coating of light ivory and dark olive while its interior is adorned with leather.
The China division of Mercedes-Benz is being investigated along with two other auto manufacturers by the Administrative Center for Defective Products of China or the DPAC since it supposedly used asphalt on vehicles as sound deadeners. The two other automobile manufacturers whose China divisions were also investigated were Audi and BMW.
