TBT: This Anti-Tailgating Solution Is Genius
There are two types of people: those who like to play by the rules, and those who like to have a little fun. In this week’s Throwback Thursday post, we take a look at one person who likes to have a little fun, and the hilarious way they deal with tailgating. There’s a video of tailgating that is currently making the internet rounds, where a sports car was literally rammed off the road by a truck, so we can’t exactly encourage you to display vulgarities. So this piece of ingenuity might not be the most recommended solution, but it sure is funny.
Taking advantage of the W203’s rear sunshade, a hidden message can be displayed and retracted with just the touch of a button. This guy chose to make his message quite clear, so as not to leave the tailgater in any doubt. Sadly you can’t predict how people will react, so my usual practice is just to move over if possible and let a tailgater go on their jerky way, but truth be told, I’m looking at my rear sunshade button with a little more admiration now.
