I often refrain myself from mentioning God, Jesus, or any other name that may have religious connotations, but holy mother of God, just look at this thing!

Listed for sale at Historics at Brooklands auction house is this oh-so-lovely, race-derived 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM. This is one of only 40 vehicles built for the U.K. market with the steering wheel on the right side, and it’s only covered 9,940 miles since new. Seriously, why wouldn’t you drive it?

For starters, whoever currently owns this thing most likely knew what he was buying 10 years ago, and therefore decided to keep the miles low. Still, that’s right under 1k miles per year, so it’s not like it always sat in a garage. It probably did see a few roads here and there. Not like you could tell from the aesthetic condition of it, of course. It’s bloody pristine.

Featuring a stunning mix of leather, Alcantara, and carbon fiber across the cabin, and a flat-bottom steering wheel reminiscent of uhhhh, DTM racing, this Benz simply gets my heart going. Speaking of hearts, this gorgeous silver arrow is powered by a 5.4-liter V8 engine, which produces about 574 horsepower and is capable of reaching 60 mph from a standstill in about 3.8 seconds. Rewind back to 2006, and that was only half a second slower than a $700,000 dollar Ferrari Enzo.

I’ve had the chance to spend some time behind the wheel of a tuned Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series, which is extremely similar to this DTM model, and I truly believe it’s one of the best vehicles I’ve ever driven. I can’t imagine this one would be any better, but with an estimated selling price of $305,000 dollars, it better be!
