Tuned Mercedes AMG Stage 1 C63 Ride Along Thrills YouTuber
Simply riding along in a tuned, 624 horsepower Mercedes C63 AMG is enough to make someone go out and buy one.
YouTube has opened up a whole new world for automotive enthusiasts. Both those who enjoy consuming content, as well as your average person who has always wanted to make a living talking about cars. Luke from YouTube channel hampshirephoto falls squarely in the latter category, and he’s obviously a pretty lucky guy. At least it sure looks that way from this recent video, where he gets to ride along in a tuned Mercedes AMG C63.
The slick matte gray ride is owned by Sandra, who is more than keen to show it off. And who can blame her? Aside from the sweet optional paint job, this Mercedes is also pumping out a lot more power than its stock 470 horsepower rating. “It’s pushing 624 horsepower,” Sandra says. “And I think that it’s probably a little bit more than that, because the tune was done on a hot day.”
Outside of the tune, this hot Mercedes has also had some exhaust work done. That involved removing the resonators and a couple of other cuts. Together with a “pop and bang” tune that’s all the rage these days, the C63 certainly sounds the part. Throw in a vinyl-wrapped roof, rear spoiler, badge, and grille, and it’s safe to say this Mercedes certainly looks the part as well.
Luke admits he’s ridden in a few tuned Mercedes C63 AMGs before. But that doesn’t quell his enthusiasm for this killer ride. “It just makes you smile, doesn’t it?” he asks rhetorically. “I want one of these now. I really want one,” he adds after a generous application of throttle. And who can blame him? We also can’t blame Sandra for her driving style. Which purposely involves letting off the gas constantly just to make those sweet exhaust noises.
With a killer combination of style, sound, and performance, this Mercedes C63 AMG is pretty hard to beat. Especially when you’re able to unlock so much extra power with a simple tune. Despite that, Sandra is currently planning on getting a Stage 2 upgrade. That will crank things up to around the 700 horsepower mark. Which should make this wicked car even more fun to slide around the typically moist roads of Birmingham.
