Woman Flips Mercedes-Benz GLE350 & Hits Others During Test Drive
I wish this was a sensationalist headline, but it it’s not. But are you ready for the really shocking part of this story? She never even left the dealership!
Yup, you read that right. According to FOX5 News, a Virginia woman visited a Mercedes-Benz dealership to test drive a new SUV, since she was interested in trading in her older Toyota Highlander for a new Benz. After a bit of “looking around,” the woman and salesperson agreed on a brand-new GLE350, and proceeded to begin the test drive.
Unfortunately, the test drive ended nearly as soon as it started. Reports say that the woman buried her foot into the accelerator instead of the brake, and for some reason left it there during the entire ordeal. This caused for the GLE350 to crash into another 4 cars, one of them being her very own Toyota. I almost feel compelled to say “no joke” at the end of this paragraph.

Due to the lady leaving her foot on the accelerator, the SUV eventually wedged itself on top of a parked C-Class, and climbed on top of it only to flip on its side and finally come to a stop. It’s not clear whether there were more passenger onboard the vehicle besides the woman and the salesperson, but thankfully no one else on the dealership parking lot was injured.
It’s safe to say that this sales interaction will only go one of two ways. Either the woman will be too embarrassed to ever show up again, or she will feel feel obliged to make a purchase. What do you think?
