Best ECU and Pulley upgrade?
I’m considering to go for a ECU and Pulley upgrade. What’s the best product out there in terms or reliability, quality, and value?

There are so many choices...
I going to try Wetteraur Chip and Pullies (560HP) and when my car comes in...and also cause I can get one easy here for good money...
Most popular Here are Evosport (550 HP) and Kleemann (520HP)...

MKB are also pretty good - they remap tranny / change gear ratios and are pretty solid crowd, but expensive. Kleemann seems - by far the most popular here.

Hennesey pulley is apparently the biggest one out there... think the rest are more or less the same.

MKB only uses Pullies in their last 620HP stage...
their Stage one is not expensive equals to 540 HP and 735 Torgues (ECU and modifiied Air Duct if I remeber correct)

E63 biturbo
Came across this while looking for Jaguar mods. Has anybody tried the Eurotoys pulley? 50 rwhp for $900 seems like a good deal

This is an email I received from ASP about their pulleys....
PN 331390 is 895.00. It is a MB harmonic dampner modified 17% larger to spin the blower faster and a smaller wp pulley. Hp is 45-50 to the wheels. No ECU reprogram needed. Can be installed in a couple of hours. Good in stock.
Anybody actually install an ASP pulley set?? I don't have the cash laying around for a Renntech one and was considering going this route. I have used ASP on other cars without a problem....

I was wondering when ASP was going to have a pulley at a reasonable price. The hp gains are about in line with what Hennessy is offering. Ask about a group buy and I might get one with you.

They quoted $895 for my S55 and said there was no need for the ECU upgrade (though it would obviously help the HP).
Sounds like a relatively cheap way to grab some extra ponies!

Here is the dyno I got from ASP. As Viper TT said, it is a larger pulley with a smaller water pump pulley...so you can use the existing belt. It's a modified MB pully so the harmonic balancing function is still intact. ASP can't do a group buy so they defer to one of their vendors, RPM Outlet. I've called them but they haven't returned my call yet from the other day. If anyone has dealt with them before, you're welcome to get this thing going.

2005 Brilliant Silver E55
I've had Renntech on my E55 and Kleeman on my CL55...I would go with Renntech if I bought a 3rd 55K car. While both companies are great and with great reputation, the Renntech seemed more consistent for me and put down more power than the Kleeman on my cars.
Renntech is probably one of the more expensive companies, but I'm a firm believe of you get what you pay for.
