Questions from a newbie (1992 190e 2.6)
Folks;
I am new here. I have found similar sites (for other vehicles) very helpful!
I am on my 3rd MBZ (1986 300TD, 1996 300TE, and my new 1992 190e/2.6)
I love this little frau. I bought her last Fall with about 135K and am crowding 165K (I drive a lot).
My questions:
1. Moderate modifications: any suggestions for induction, exhaust, wheels/tires,body trim, interior.....
2. I seem to be using about 1qt of oil every 500 miles. No smoke (cold, warm or hot); no oil on the garage floor; a slight hot oil smell inside; but I can't figure out out where it's going?!
3. Cruise control (like my 300's) doesn't hold..like a vacuum leak or something.
Any advise or redirection to vendors or resources would be appreciated!
