hi I'm a new member here. I looking for a 190e 2.3/2.5 -16valve but i know little about the car except that it looks beautiful what do i look for when buying a 190e? thanks!

 

try to stay with a one owner if you can find.......they tend to take better care.

make sure well mantained.

Where are you located? There are no 2.5-16 in North America, since they didn't meet EPA standards, which is a shame since that engine is really better suited to daily driving.

 

im form the philippines. its really hard finding a clean 16v, i found some but it had a evo 2 kit. i'm trying to find a untouched 16v. i think we dont have 2.5 - 16vs here but if i cant find one. probably going to buy a low model and have an engine swap pref. a 2.5, if i can find 1 Lols

probably Australias best 2.3-16 Cosworth. 1985 model, personally imported from Europe in the 80's after working in Switzerland. Im the only owner since new aswell.
Black, with sunroof,94 000 miles. No crashes. Immaculate.

i dont know what the import tarrifs in the Philippines are like but if they arent bad then maybe my old girl is an option?

 

we have one of the worst tax on importing cars it would cost 2-3 more
if i imported 1 here. philippines govenrment sucks!!! hahaha lol!
