it was a momentous event when the car's AirConditioning was fixed. but after a few hours of driving, i parked my car on my mother's house. shortly after, i began to start up the car ------never start up anymore.

we jump-started the car and it ran, but when i turn it off, it didnt start again. the battery is barely new,

do you think its the alternator? if so, can i use the alternator from a 2.3 or 2.6 engine?
