Exclamation 19se?

I saw a Mercedes Benz being advertised as a 190 SE, is there even such a car, or is this a misprint? If there are differences, what are they? Would parts be any more for the 190 SE (if it exists)

I never heard of a 190 SE. It could be a misprint or an abbreviation for something like Sportline Edition. If so, they are pretty rare. Would you happen to know the year of the car or color?

Exclamation Hmm

I doubt that'll happen any time soon; I live in Ohio, and the car is clear down in Texas....quite a long drive.

Exclamation I apologize for the double-post, but...

What are the differences between the sportsline and the normal 190E? Also, is insurance any more for it? Parts? Is there any way I can tell it's a sportsline edition by looking at picture?

Sportlines share front suspension components with the 2.3-16, meaning that they are lowered about 1/2" compared to the stock 190E and have larger anti sway bars. The steering box also comes from the 16 valve and is a half turn quicker, lock to lock. The drivetrain is stock. Sportline badges on the front flanks. The interior features sport leather seats front and rear, carbon fiber trim, smaller steering wheel and Sportline shifter knob.

These were the Limited Editions. Only the 2.6 LE was a Sportline, the 2.3 LE was not. Also the Sportline package was available prior to '93.

Differences between 2.6LE and 2.3LE (excluding suspension/drivetrain):

Exterior:
2.6LE: two-tone black w/grey door cladding; no badging on rear ; headlamp wipers;
2.3LE: mono-tone brilliant emerald; no badging on rear; headlamp wipers;
Seating:
2.6LE: electric black sport leather seats (front and rear) with red piping and memory
2.3LE: electric creme leather seats (front and rear)
Wheels:
2.6LE: 8-hole 15x7 (Z rated tires)
2.3LE: 8-hole 15x6
Interior:
2.6LE: Carbon fibre trim; rear leather head restraints; smaller steering wheel; Sportline leather knob
2.3LE: Burl Walnut wood trim; rear leather head restraints; smaller steering wheel; leather knob
