Heater Hose Issue

Hi! Recently, my 1985 190e 8v had a problem. The heater hose burst, and all of the car's coolant leaked out. Luckily, I got it home safely. Unfortunately, I now have a bursted heater hose. In trying to replace it, I discovered that there is some sort of wall that the heater hose goes into. The wall goes across the entire back of the engine compartment. I need to get behind that wall to remove the other side of the hose, but I can't seem to figure out how. Could somebody please help me with this problem? I don't know too much about cars. Thanks!

dude-

I had the same problem. I would suggest taking it to a mechanic. You might not be able to replace it yourself that easily.
