Seeking better handling
Hi... currently drive a standard 190E 2.0.
I'm in the UK - heaps of back country roads...
...
I want better handling, without my car looking like it's been riced or max-powered... and don't want to blow money... so maybe I need a 2.5 16?
190E --> 190E sportline --> 190 2.3 16 --> 190 2.5 16
Is handling improved at each jump?
What are the differences?
How do the non-Evo AMG handling enhanced variants fit into this scheme?
I use my car frequently to visit client sites - meaning that it also has to be cost effective... so I presume the 2.5 will slurp through way more fuel... any thoughts?

The suspension set up that works best for your roads will depend on the roads and speeds you expect to achieve. For instance, what works well on smooth motorways will not be the best for rutted or countryside motoring. Most "tuning" set ups with lowering springs and sport dampers are for faster highways, not city streets or country roads.

UK 'country roads' defined...

the 'country roads' are Axxx and B roads in the UK. Generally always bitumen, they allow speeds of up to 70 mph... have many curves thus rewarding agility over pure top speed...
