Vogtland Springs...etc
Hey w201's. So i have a friend that wants to lower his 1992 190e 2.3. I used to have one and put H&R sport springs on, but i've heard that some people are riding on Vogtland's and eibach.
Do any of you have advice on which springs to run for various preferences? Thanks for the help

If I could do my 190 over I'd use something with more travel. I frequently bottom out the Eibachs on these crappy Bay Area highways. Cruising along and then *BAM* some jacked up Caltrans project where there's a 2 or 3" bump in the pavement. I swear it's gonna blow out my tires one of these days....
Anyway, the Vogtlands typically have less coils in the same drop and stiffness. This provides more travel before the spring is fully compressed. I have them on the C43 and I love them.
