The top pics are after the repair. That is when I got the smokes for the rear. If you look in the damaged pic you will notice the OEM tail lights.

Trust me, it hurt me a lot more. Looking at the pics still make e cringe and I have back pains that I cannot attribute to my 41 year old body.

Kinda looks like you have a euro spec car.

Cant tell much just little hints. Why replace the wing with a NAm spec? :p

Yes it is a Euro Spec. As for the wing it was all about cost and saving the car. State Farm was trying like hell to total the car while I was wagging WW III to stop them. I finally got them to agree to an increased value on the car and for them to give me what ever they would allow for that value and I would pay the rest to fix it. A new wing IIRC was some where near $1k not including the trunk. So my dad found a trunk/wing in Los Angeles for about $700 and I jumped on it. I hate the center light but my body man was already working with me and I did not want to fork up the extra cash to have the hole filled. In hind sight I probably should have but C'est la vie.

Little hints? Like the head light wipers, no knee bolster, slush box and fire extinguisher?

My dad bought it in 89 and brought it over. He knew I loved tat car more than life and 7 years ago he said he wanted to get rid of it and get a 'real' car. So he bought a used 750 and I got his. Been a money pit ever since but I can't help my self.

Lets try this again
This is my '87 190E 2.6 Auto (216000km)
Any suggestions are very welcome.
Also does anyone know how to remove my spoiler? Is it screwed in or glued usually? Also I don't know what model I have. I assume its just a plain 190e 2.6, but the spoiler and the suspension throws me off.

Just picked this car up after viewing this site. A guy around my shop was selling it, so i hopped online to see what people do to these. Automatically fell in love with it. Bought the wheels and tires off ebay brand new. Front 18x8 et35 215/35/18. Rear 18x9 et38 225/40/18. And i just ordered the Evo replica kit and the wing from raceonusa. Cars going black also. And i know , i got to get rid of those awful headlights and grille.

anyone else notice this guy has a 2inch lip on the rear rims and a no lip on the front rims? Is that supposed to be like that?

What MB wheels are those? Are they off a CLS?

Actually these are aftermarket wheels with mb center caps. A company named OE Wheels makes them. And yes they are supposed to be like that
