Talking My new Project

Hey everyone!

Just thought I'd drop a line and introduce myself. I am usually over on the C55 board, but, being that my newest project is a 190 I thought I'd come over and let you guys know whats going on.

I have recently purchased a 92 2.6 5speed, that will be converted into a DTM race car replica. It will be completed gutted/caged (look for a sportline interior in very good shape to go up for sale shortly), it will have the body panels from a retired DTM car, and finally it will be powered by the C36 drive train. (of course all modern suspension/brake upgrades etc)

If anyone has a line on the DTM wheels please drop me a line, otherwise I'll be going with some usual race wheels.

And before some asks... Yes this car WILL be driven regularly on track. I'm not into buidling Garage queens.

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly welcomed

Body parts from a DTM car?

Is it Evo I, Evo II? AMG?

Sorry for the very long delay in updating!

I've been over on the 190rev forum. The car is moving along nicely, the EvoII body is here and is being prepped. The motor has gone into the car and works with the 5speed.

Now the motor is being pulled and rebuilt to race spec. I hope to have the car ready by spring. We will run this car in the NASA GTS challenge series.

I have LOADS of pics from the swap and I will post them up here in the next few days
