Engine changed - need advice PLS
Hi 190E owners!
I have a 190E 1986 model. I have made an engine transplant(I have put a newer engine) and I have encountered some problems...
The Wires completely fit into the new engine, the old engine does not have an electronic injection system or the ignition.
The new one has two piece of electronic equipment on it, under the air filter.
The old wire harness has two connector formely unused, but they fit with the new engine(on the two electronic modules under the air filter).
It's possible that the new engine not to work with the old ECU?
