Questions - Considering purchasing a '93 190E 2.6

I came across a '93 190E 2.6 with 99K miles that will be auctioned off later this month in an estate sale. The car has been sitting in a driveway for over a year and has a few issues. I jump started the car since the battery is dead. It started right up but smoked a little bit. I assume this is due to the length of time it had been sitting because I let it idle about 20 minutes and it stopped smoking.

The issues I found with the car are as follows:
Parking brake does not release and the parking brake lever is in the off position but will not move

Power seats are stuck. The headrest and reclining functions work bit the driver seat is stuck all the way back and the passenger seat is stuck all the way forward. How can I remove the seats to repair them?

Needs new tires.

The body is in okay shape with a few dents and dings. Some of the paint is oxidized and the black plastic trim pieces have faded.

Other than these issues everything else appears to work on the car. Unfortunately there is no service or maintenance history on the car and no one to ask because the owner is deceased. I'm not really concerned with the appearance of the car as I would only be using it as a daily driver.

What are some other common problem areas with this model? What other things should I check out on the car? What should be done to a car that has been sitting for this long other than changing all the fluids and filters?

Thanks in advance for any advice, suggestions and info you can provide!

Replace all the fuses in the fusebox with copper or glass fuses if you can find them.

Remove the shifter surround and remove all the switches for the window, hazard switch, mirror...etc. Clean the contact points of the switches with electrical contact spray.

That should clear up some problems or problems you could have in the future "electrical" wise.

I had problems with the fuses too, all they need is to be replaced.

Get your spark plugs and oil changed.
