~190e Idle/tapping problems, Plz Help~
I have a white 190e 1986 2.0L benz... had all rust taken out of it, resprayed white with extra gloss coats to make it mint, got some mint as 17" chromes, its lowered on Super Low James springs... also got sounds, tv's etc =)
I have been having problems with the idleing lately, it was hard to get it started and when i did i had to keep revs up to stop it dieing... have replaces dizzy cap and rotor arm which fixed the problem.
Every since i got the car the idle has been a bit lower that normal in nutral but when i put it into drive or reverse it drops heeps and makes the car shake a fair bit, anything i could do to stop that? any way to adjust the idle manualy? (its a carb engine)
The eninge its self i havnt had any problems with it is just very lould, there is a very lould tapping noise, wat could this be? it is starting to annoy me because it sorta sounds like a tractor =)
thanks
I have a question though, are ALL 190E's Carb engines?
