Looking into getting a 190E

Im interested in getting a 190E what are some common problems these cars face?

V8, Flat 6, V6, & Turbo flat 4

Not really any major problems, pretty much are bullet proof.
Just make sure it passes emissions.

Sweet il save some money up and search around looking for another euro car to put a hole in my pocket

I would suggest reading the issues raised in this forum and also the W124 forum, since the designs are quite similar.

If any buyer is unfamiliar with Mercedes cars, then it's well worth the expense of having a Pre Purchase Inspection (PPI) done by a qualified MB mechanic. Remember, these are 15 to 20 year old cars, and if they've had multiple owners, it's likely that maintenance has been neglected. CarFax and other VIN based databases won't be overly accurate in the history of cars these age and the MBUSA only retain service records for warranty or recall visits, while individual dealerships may have customer service records.
