ambient temperature display
I recently bought a used ambient temperature display unit to replace the old one on my car. This one reads temperature in centigrade. Does anyone know if there is a way of changing the display or resetting it to read in fahrenheit degrees?

Unfortunately, there is no switch or jumper that converts the integrated circuit from one scale to another. I tracked down the Sams Photofacts for the IC, but there's no jumper.

It's mounted near the license plate frame holder. The sensor is located there since the temp display is designed to warn drivers of near freezing road conditions and ice.
