Still shaking.

I just changed my cap and rotor the other night. The other one was burnt really bad. Well, nothing happend. I mean, nothing. It runs exactly the way it did before. It still shakes on idle alitte, wich i dont know what that it. But i dont get better gas milage, shake is still there. accleration is the same. throttle response. No changes.

Is that natural? I did my fuel filter, air filter, bosch spark plug sires, autolite plugs. Im thinking of getthing copper bosch ones though. I heard there better.

I havent done them. I dont want to. There like 100 each(?). I think I have two. I dont have a check engine light on. I dont think I have a check light to begin with. I cant seem to find it on the dash.

Woulod that cause it to shake. It idles at like 525-550. If I give it alittle gas, the shake goes away. I think I need to tune the idle. But, it still has a small shake that i can feel. I wouldnt notice it unless I was really looking for it though.

Have you checked the condition of your motor mounts? If those hydropneumatic mounts are worn out, your engine will shake at idle, then when given the gas, will thrust to one side and appear stable. The shake from worn motor mounts may eventually break the plastic radiator neck.

I looked at motormounts by putting it in gear and giving it some gas. Engine doesnt really move much. Ill have them really looked at next week.

Im leaning more towards the Idle acuator(SP)? Its like a 400$ part though. In wich case my car will shake till it dies. lol.

Im thinking of doing my suspension soon. The backs new, but the front is wearing out. and i broke a strut mount.

I replaced the wires again. Bosch wires. One of them fell and hit the exhaust and melted alittle and cracked so i got new ones.

Im thinking of getting bosch copper core plugs. I have plat autolites now. I heard that might help. We'll see.
