16v 5 Speed Brass Shifter Bushings

My kid has sold a bunch of brass shifter bushing at 190rev. He has about 10 pairs left and wants them sold. He gets 26 bucks delivered for them. If you want a set, let me know.
This is a simple repair and makes the shifter feel much better.

are the bushings for that car interchangeable with the 2.6L manual transmission by any chance? Mine requires 3 of them and the rubber ones (oem) are out of stock.

You must be talking about the bushings under the car. The ones he's made are for the shifter, in the car. There are only two.

I don't think we can help you out right now. My son is working on making composite shifter bushings for under the car, as well as composite bushings for the frame. But he is working on so much other stuff, I don't know when he'll have a finished sample.

The 5 speed tranny on my 2.6 has 3 bushings and they are on the driver side of the gear box. I was told that most transmissions aren't even like this... I've been looking since 2 days ago and I'm very tempted to just go to a polyurethane fabricator and get some made. Maybe even sell extras if I go thru with it.

Ya, those are the ones on the outside. The one he sells are for the actual shifter in the car. I would bet your shifter in the car has bushings that are shot as well.

Be careful on the outside bushings. It can get real hot under there if you are stuck in traffic.
