I have an 84 190e 2.3 and i blew up the tranny in it (it lasted 200,000 miles and 23 years so i cant complain) and i already found a new transmission for it and im getting ready to hook it up this week i was just wondering how many problems i can expect to run into with it. I have changed transmissions before so I have experience with it but something always seems to go wrong hahaha. Its a manual transmission. I just cant wait to get her back on the road, she never broke down on me in the 2 years i drove it until the transmission just died and luckily it was right by my house when that happened lol

 

Easiest thing in the world. Make sure you put fluid in it.(ATF)
