Alarm HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alarm HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I got home tonight and it had been raining pretty hard, and up to this point I wasn't sure whether my 190D was equipped with the factory alarm or not, it was.... much to my dismay...
I had the window cracked a little at a point when I stopped to watch a thunderstorm, and I got home and buttoned the car up shut the driver's door and proceeded to lock the car using the key, instantly (honkhonkhonkhonk!!!!!!!!!!!!) at 1 am in a quiet neighborhood, so I got it to stop by unlocking the car.... then I tried the trunk.... (honkhonk etc....) and then the passenger door (you get the idea) so I started it moved it onto more level ground in hopes that would do something, but no.
so anyhow, I ended up locking the car on the inside of the pass. door, but I don't want to have to do this often... it's REALLY annoying...
If it's any help I jumpstarted a car earlier......
