Window Switch Broken

Last night the driver's side front window on my 89 2.6 went down but not back up, making for a chilly drive home... I think it's just the switch in the center console, as it fails to make the usual click when pressed like the other ones. Window still goes down, and all other windows work just fine. Do I have to take off the entire console to put in a new switch, or is there a simpler way?

Thanks!

The window switch, like all the others on the center console, are held in place by spring clips at the top and bottom of the switch. The clips should be depressed while pushing the switch out from the backside of the trim piece, otherwise you risk breaking the wooden tab(s) on the trim.
