Steel wheels

Where can I source some 15" steel wheels for my 190 (new or used)? What cars did they come on?

Very few W201s brought into the US were equip'd with steelies . . . they were brought over "fully loaded." You can check with recyclers and see if they have older wheels from other chassis that will work with the W201. Make sure you get the right lug bolts to go with them.

It would be a lot easier to get some 16" steelies off a CLK.

Will 14 inch do?

The 201 diesels started with 14" wheels as you know. I don't know when the factory moved up to 15". I have the five 14" steel wheels (5J x 14 ) that came on my euro 84 190D 2.0, one still with the original tire. Four plastic covers and 20 steel lugs. PM me if that will do instead of 15's. Dave
