I just bought my 1989 190e about one month ago and i love it. Iv'e done a couple of obvious maintenance things like changing oil, oil filter, fuel filter, new air filter and clean air box, and once all that was done my check engine light came on!! So now I don't know what to do, I've checked all other fluids, and right now I only have one idea - there is a small exhaust leak just past the catalytic converter. Can anyone tell me if this could be the reason I need to "check my engine"? Any other ideas would help, but I don't want to take it into a shop for diagnostics yet because of the cost.
