About to go pick up 1989 190e 2.6
Hey guys/Gals,
Im picking up the car today at noon. The only thing wrong with it is a hard shift from 1st to 2nd. I have read through this forum and a few other sfor the past week and ive got a good idea of what I need to do. I have always used forums for the reapirs on all my vehicles and am lookig forward to getting to know you guys. Hopefully my wrenching experience will help some of you out. I have a lot of time on nissans fords yotas and chevy's and I am tackling MB the same way......trial by fire
Ill post pics of all my projects for all to see a little bit later (1991 Pathfinder 6" lift, 1992 Bronco EB, 1965 Mustang Coupe, and now 1989 Mercedes Benz 190e 2.6!) If you are in Denver I am more than willing to help a fellow wrencher out. I have a full shop with everything except a CNC machine and wheel equipment.
Im a big fan of customizing anything I get into so ill be asking questions about performance parts and what not. Im going to go and tear it down at my shop on Sat and give it a thourough inspection/adjustment. Wish me luck!
