Electrical Problems :-/

A month or so ago the left side of my instrument cluster stopped working.. the oil pressure, gas, and temperature gauge. A few days later the cruise stopped working and twice (so far) when i turned the engine off and removed the key, the radio power stayed on as well as the electric windows. After about 10 minutes the car finally "turned off". Are these things interrelated and is my car heading for disaster? she's a 92 2.6 with only 140k, I’m not ready to give up on her.

My cluster wasnt working either when I first got my car. It was just a fuse... Stupid question. Did you check the fuses? If its not that I have no idea what else controls all three of those instruments and your fadio not turning off is really weird exspecially when it turns off eventually. Your remote wire the radio may not be grounded properly. Is it aftermarket?

Ah ha- and then some :(

Well it was a fuse causing the gauges and cruise not to work. Obviously the cruise became inoperable when the gauges went out since they share a fuse, it was hard to notice since i dont use cruise control that often.

That problem solved, I am still having issues with the power not shutting off. It is not just the radio, it's the windows, sunroof etc. It is like it's getting stuck in the first postion on the starter switch because none of the warning lights show on the instrument cluster as they do when it is on the battery position. I dunno, im just waiting for the day it comes on randomly and drains my battery. If anyone has had this problem, or an opinion on what this might be, please share, as I am totally lost.
Thanks!
