U joint

After several mechanics telling me my CV-axles were bad because I heard a clicking form the rear. Wich I could only find one guy who could rebuild them for 1k$. I got under my car and after about 30seconds of screwing around I found out it was just a drive shaft cupler, or u joint or whatever its called.

parts/labor 200$ =) Much better then 1k.

just to add to this, all the mechanics who said I need to replace the CV axles put my car in the air, and played with the drive shaft alittle near the rear axle and then said "Oh yeah these are bad. You're gunna want to replace very quickly before they break on you while you are driving and cause a seriose accident!"

My CV axles are fine. The boots are fine. There is no play in them. My counsin who is a mechanic and didnt look where I looked said the axles are fine also. We just didnt see the u joint that far up becasue from the rear, where i thought the problem was, you cant see that joint because of the ehaust.
