Clink clink
So, I have a bad U-joint. The front one nearest the tranny. When my car shifts I hear it clink. Thats fine. I know what the problem is, Im getting it fixed when my mechnic comes back from PR.
I noticed in the rain yesterday that if I make a turn, I hear a different clink noise. and it goes clink clinkc clink while im making a turn if I hit the gas, and sometimes in a straight line only if I give it gas. As soon as let off the gas it stops. Ive had this problem for a long time now. I just forgot because I havent driven my car in the rain in a while.
This only happens win the rain, or if I have over 600 pounds in the cabin. particulalry the rear.
I had my CV axles looked at and they look fine. The boots are in great shape. Someone told me the rear gear might have a leaking gasket and needs some 90w oil.

my front flex-disc is shot to hell. It has about an inch of play in it. Im getting that replaced soon. But would that be whats making the noise when I turn or accelerate? It seems to click at around 2000-2500rpm range. It is more prone to do so when I drive in the rain. It is a gaurentee then it goes away after a day or so.
Its most noticable when im turning and giving it gas. No gas, no click.
