Instrument Cluster gauges
Howdy all,
Just picked up an 87 2.3-16, and this afternoon when I got into it, the fuel gauge, coolant temp, oil pressure, oil temp, and volt meter all stayed on 0. They were working this morning and last night without a problem... I'm guessing fuse, but I can't tell which one it might be. Anyone got any suggestions?

Just for laughs, give the dash a thump and see if it affects the performance of the gauges. If it does, then it's likely you have a bad ground contact to that side of the cluster.
Fuse #9 is for the whole cluster.

Since you are there, you might as well replace all the fuses. Clean off the connectors with a tooth brush and put new fuses to ensure everything works as it should. Fuses may look "ok" but I bet if you just move fuse 9 around, it may work. While you drive though, you'll see the gas gauge flicker up and down somewhere down the line. Everyone knows what I'm talkin about.
