Humming noise? Please Help!

Humming noise? Please Help!
Hey all.
There is this humming noise coming from around the third cylinder location. As I step on the gas, it goes away. The noise then returns while idling while in drive and in park. It gets progressively louder to the point where I just turn my car off cause I fear it will ruin something. When I start it back up, it's quiet, then it will come back in a little bit of time.
I changed my cap, rotor, and plugs. All wires are in the proper sequence and connected to the cap and plugs snug. I changed these to possibly remedy my idle problems, but to no avail. Anyway, this noise came after I changed all these.
Coincidence because I put everything back the way it was.
It starts up fine cold and warm. While warm the noise is comes and stays. It's more if a humming/buzzing noise that starts off small and progressively gets louder and louder
