Hesitation problem w201 16v cossie
Hey guys,
So I was fortunate enough to find a nice example of a 1987 190e 2.3 16v. The car needed some work like new catalytic converter, a/c recharge, but the engine shakes during idle and I sense hesitation when I want the car to really go. I mean for a 20 year old car this thing is amazing. I grew up around MB's & Bimmer's so I have always switched on and off with the two. But this doesn't feel like a true miss it shakes during idle mildly, the rpm at times like to stay in the 2k range after coming to a stop and then there is that hesitation. I was wondering if any 16v owners have experienced the same problem. Please help me out if anyone knows what it can be. My guess is either bad injector or fuel distributor. Please let me know. I will post pics later of the car
